‘People don’t leave their marriages when they are enjoying it’ — Actor Akin Olaiya’s ex-wife reacts as divorce papers trend online

The ex-wife of actor Akin Olaiya has broken her silence after documents relating to the end of their marriage surfaced online.

In a video making the rounds on social media, she shared her side of the story, insisting that people do not walk away from happy marriages.

According to her, she left the marriage because she was being mistreated and made to feel like she did not matter.

“Nobody prays to be in a violent marriage,” she said, adding that no one who is enjoying peace and happiness in their home would willingly choose divorce.

“I married him despite the age difference, but he betrayed me,” she said.

The woman further hinted at her ex-husband later marrying the same friend.

She explained that she had stayed silent till now because she values her privacy and was not raised to publicly discuss personal matters.
